Based in York, North Yorkshire, we are proud to offer the following services to primary schools within a 20-mile radius of York:
1. Extra-curricular Netball Clubs - before or after school clubs.
2. Lunchtime Netball Clubs.
3. Staff CPD sessions.
4. Curriculum time P.E. provision - following the National Curriculum for netball.
5. School Sports Day support.

*SSNY JUNIOR NETBALL ACADEMY *
- For children in the York area in school years 3-8.
- We offer Tuesday night training sessions at our host venue New Earswick Sports & Social Club, YO32 4AD on their floodlit hard court. Please see our 'Academy' page for more details.
So if you are interested in any of our services, either as a parent of a child who is looking for local junior netball sessions outside school hours; a P.E. lead; or a a teacher in school who might like us to provide expertly coached sessions, led by one of our specialist England Netball qualified coaches, we would love to hear from you!

ABOUT US
Formed in 2020, Shooting Stars Netball York aims to offer an athletic outlet by providing Netball training and competitive play, whilst actively promoting and championing physical and mental wellbeing.
Shooting Stars Netball promotes physical fitness and athleticism in a fun, safe, and engaging environment for primary school pupils in the York area.
We welcome boys and girls from age 7-14 (primary school years 3-8) where we teach the underpinning ball skills, physical fitness, agility, balance and coordination goals and the importance of teamwork and communication, among other holistic goals with the broader aim of improving children's match play.
Our junior academy sessions cater for all levels of experience from complete beginner to the advanced player as we have the facilities and infrastructure in place for all children to develop their game.
Netball is both an inclusive and organic way to unite us in such trying times and to put smiles on faces, whilst it also helps us remember the power and value of belonging and collaboration.
We are proud to offer Netball to both boys and girls NO MATTER WHAT YOUR LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE so please don't think "I'm not sure if I can" .....
just give it a go and you might surprise yourself!
